About Common Man Therapy

About Me

I am a husband, father, veteran, and psychotherapist who cares deeply about helping men get their strength and direction back. My work combines clinical training with the real world experience of someone who has carried responsibility, navigated pressure, and pushed through demanding seasons of life.

I understand what it means to feel off course, and I know the work it takes to rebuild strength, discipline, and direction. That lived experience shapes how I show up in the room and how I help the men I work with. You will not get judgment, vague explanations, or sugarcoated answers from me. You will get structure, clarity, and a direct path forward.

My Approach

My style is straightforward and built for men who want clarity and action. I use practical, results‑driven methods that help you take control of your thoughts, cut through the excuses that keep you stuck, and make decisions with more discipline and confidence. A big part of this work is learning to stop wasting energy on things you can’t control and redirecting it toward the values, priorities, and responsibilities that actually matter. You’ll break unproductive patterns, stay focused on what moves your life forward, and build habits that hold up under pressure.

My Background

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology

  • Veteran of the United States Air Force

  • Experience as a first responder

  • Member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology

  • Extensive work with men facing stress, burnout, identity challenges, and life transitions

Beyond credentials, my work reflects my values: structure, accountability, resilience, and the belief that men do better when they have clear goals and a strong guide in their corner.

The Men I Serve

I work primarily with men who:

  • Feel stuck or overwhelmed

  • Have lost their sense of direction or momentum

  • Carry the weight of providing and protecting

  • Want discipline, clarity, and confidence

  • Want therapy that respects how men communicate

  • Want to reclaim their drive, focus, and purpose

If that sounds like you, we will work well together.
